Staycation deals you must know: Kid-friendly hotels in Singapore

So you’ve decided to put away the passports for now, but you can still take your kids on a vacation
in Singapore. As Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong encouraged on his Instagram and Facebook accounts: “If you’re worried about travel restrictions, consider a staycation at a local hotel.”

The hotels Young Parents spoke to say they are following Government-recommended hygiene and precautionary measures against Covid-19.

At Shangri-La Hotel Singapore, for example, its indoor playground Buds closes for an hour (12pm to 1pm or 1pm to 2pm) daily so the staff can wipe down and sanitise the facilities.

The Millennium Hotels and Resorts group, which includes Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, also details its “We Clean. We Care. We Welcome.” initiative here to give guests peace of mind.

Whether your budget is below $200 or over $1,000 per room per night, a staycation is wonderful for a weekend getaway, school holiday treat or to celebrate your kid’s birthday.

Here, Young Parents shares some of the best family staycation deals in Singapore.
